Born and raised in Vancouver, Madison completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from SFU in 2018. She then moved to the Netherlands to attend graduate school, completing her Master of Science in Crime and Criminal Justice in 2020. Madison concentrated on comparative law and human rights in her studies abroad, and has since returned to Vancouver to make an impact at home.
Through academic pursuits and volunteering, Madison has realized a strong passion for justice and human rights. After following the work of the North Shore Restorative Justice Society for several years, she is ecstatic to be volunteering with the communications and social media team. She hopes that, alongside NSRJ, she can help inform the community about the benefits of restorative justice!
NSRJ honours the Elders and Knowledge Holders, past, present and future, and acknowledges with gratitude that our work takes place in communities situated on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations.
