As a fundraising and communications professional for more than 25 years, Kim merged her passions for social causes, languages, and communications with the launch of her business – Arvorei Communications Group. Combining her strengths in communications, marketing, writing, and translation with a personal interest in health & wellness, Kim supports businesses and not-for-profits seeking to do good by helping them multiply that good through marketing and communications strategies that reach non-English speaking audiences. With the experience of living in Brazil for 11 years, Kim deepened her compassion for those who turn to crime for survival and sees them as victims in their own right. As a mother, she is excited to join the RJEAC Committee to be part of the effort to educate youth about the healing benefits of restorative justice.Kim holds a Commerce degree and post-graduate certificates in fundraising and not-for-profit management. Her favourite pastimes include walking the Pacific Spirit trails, skiing, biking, and watching movies with her husband and their two boys.
