It’s that time of year again—our annual 5km Walk-a-Thon is back! Join this fun and FREE event to help raise awareness and funds for the NSRJ’s restorative justice programming.

Participating in the Walk-a-Thon is a wonderful way to show support for your community—plus, it’s a great way to get fresh air and meet other advocates of restorative justice.

This year, our goal is to raise at least $25,000 to meet an increased demand for our restorative justice programs. All proceeds will help residents on the North Shore access programs aimed to peacefully address conflict and heal harms.

Registration is easy! Follow these simple steps:

  1. Sign up for free at Follow the prompts to create your account and verify your email address.
  2. Personalize your page. You can add a photo and a short description of why you’ve chosen to walk/run in support of the NSRJ!
  3. Set your fundraising goal. A common goal is $500, but you can select any goal you’d like—and you can always edit it later!
  4. Share your campaign with friends, family, colleagues, and more! Sharing your campaign helps to raise awareness and funds for the NSRJ. We’ve provided an email template in the Fundraiser’s Dashboard (visible after you’ve registered), and we will provide some suggested social media blurbs through email as well. Remember, all donations are tax-deductible!
  5. Get ready to run/walk! If you would like to join us in person, we’ll meet at 10AM on June 26th at Waterfront Park. We can’t wait to see you!

Demand for our programs increased by over 30% in the last year—and it’s expected to grow even more this year. Your support will help to raise awareness and critical funds for our police diversion and restorative justice in education programs.
