Tina was born, raised and has lived most of her life on the North Shore. She has a law degree and master’s in public administration from the University of Victoria. She was previously a civil litigator with the BC Ministry of Attorney General. She has a growing focus on children's rights and law and is also interested in gender relations and community engagement. She was the Equality Representative for the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association from 2017 to 2019 and is on the executive of the International Law and Children’s Law Sections. She has worked on supporting access to justice for children and youth in East Africa and on violence against women in politics in India. She is committed to furthering restorative principles and practices on the North Shore.
