Mara Veneman (she/her) has worked with NSRJ in various roles over the past five years and is pleased to currently support as the Interim Executive Director. Mara is a lawyer, mother, and long-time advocate for restorative justice & practices. She brings diverse professional experience from the United States, Canada and Costa Rica, including developing and implementing restorative processes for responding to school-based harm, facilitating processes with survivors, and working with incarcerated populations.
